ROS News for the Week of April 13th, 2026
ROSCon Turkey is go and ROSCon JP just dropped a fantastic logo for 2026. This week we also announced our next Gazebo Community Meeting. Most importantly, the deadline for ROSCon talk submissions is just nine days away! All of our upcoming ROS and robotics events are listed in the events section below.

Our Physical AI Special Interest Group has been killing it lately. @dmitri_manajev just released an interactive inverse kinematics solver for ROS 2 and the SO-101 arm that uses Viser and robokin. What’s cool about the project is that it is light-weight enough to run on a constrained platform like the Raspberry pi!

Have a camera? Have an NVIDIA Jetson? Well, you now have a depth sensor! @jfrancis71 has released a new package to integrate NVIDIA Fast Foundation Stereo model into ROS 2.
Have the Lego Mindstorm Robot inventor kit #51515? Check out this ROS Jazzy driver for Lego Mindstorms. If you get everything up and running we would love to see what you build!
