At this month’s session, @shashank_br will present on Nayantra:

I’ll present an MCP server that exposes the Open-RMF REST API as LLM-callable tools, and an agent that turns plain-English commands (“pick up a package at the main door and drop it at the store room”) into multi-step RMF missions — dispatched through Open-RMF to Nav2 and executed by a robot in an NVIDIA Isaac Sim warehouse, visualized in RViz. I’ll close with concrete, implementation-grounded feedback on how the Open-RMF APIs could better accommodate MCP-style / LLM integrations.

MCP compatibility with Open-RMF has been an ongoing topic for the community, so I look forward learning more about how users are applying MCP and LLMs to our existing APIs, and discussing what the core maintainers of Open-RMF can do to support those efforts.
