This week’s meeting was held on 2025-08-18T18:00:00Z and the following is a summary:

Progress updates:
- Buildfarm: We’re looking into a couple of failing tests on the buildfarm: one related to
ApplyLinkWrenchTestFixture
onmain
and another on macOS related to resolving SDF world files, which might be a caching issue. - Jetty Release: All forward ports for the Jetty release are complete! This led to a good discussion about our branching strategy. Going forward, we’re encouraging everyone to target the latest branch (i.e.,
main
) for new pull requests. We think this, potentially with some automation help frommergifyio
, will make our release process smoother. - Transport: The
zenoh_main
branch has been merged! Other updates include implementing ROS liveliness token conventions and a few fixes for Windows and protobuf string conversions. - Sim & Physics: Several PRs are up for review or have been merged, including a new lookup wheelslip plugin, fixes for 16-bit color images, and updates to the bullet-featherstone kinematics.

- Jetty Code Freeze: Heads up! The code freeze for the Jetty release is next Monday, 2025-08-25T00:00:00Z. We’ll be creating stable branches and pre-releases soon.
