Dear Intrinsic Team,
Since the Phase 1 started yesterday, our team wanted to explore flowstate and understand the task. We have, however, not been able to launch any solution because of VM unvailability for at least a day now (even though it mentioned the 10-20 min wait time). I hope this is not a persistent issue since this would hinder a lot of teams to show their best work!
I would love if there would be some information if this can be fixed or not.
I wish you a great day!

same, currently no luck in spinning even one VM
Hi @cteufel13
Thank you for reaching out.
What you are probably seeing is tied to our VM leasing policy. Currently, when a VM is spun up, it is assigned a default 2-hour lease. The system checks for active usage every 30 minutes to extend that lease. Because of this, if a teammate spins up a VM and finishes early, that specific instance remains locked and unavailable to the rest of the team for at least 2 hours before it can be used again.
We recommend you work with your team to track when a VM was started, and which solution has been started. A useful tip is to ensure the solution is shared with the whole organization by selecting “Share with Organization” on the option menu to the right of your solution from the Flowstate portal.
In the meantime, our team is actively looking into ways to optimize this without impacting the active VM session.
We are treating this with high priority to ensure your team can explore Flowstate and get to work without delays. We will follow up with an update as soon as we have adjusted the configuration.
Thank you for your patience and for bringing this to our attention so quickly!
Best regards,
Jimmy Baraglia
