Dear Intrinsic team,
Together with my team, we have been trying to familiarize ourselves with the FlowState environment, but have encountered some issues. As already mentioned by other teams, we often get a pop-up when trying to start a solution that mentions that all VMs are in use. This severely hinders our ability to work on this challenge.
When I did manage to start a solution, I tried following the Pick and Place tutorial as recommended. However, in Module 1: Lesson 5: step 1, we have to add the robot to the scene. When following the explained steps, I get this error:
The robot still spawns, but when I inspect the service manager I get these error messages:
I tried looking into the service catalog, but I did not seem to find Gazebo anywhere. Is there anything I am doing wrong, or can explain to me how to solve this issue?
Finally, I just tried continuing to Module 2, where we have to create a process. However when I copy the template and start the solution, the “process editor” tab is just empty (instead of the graph based overview that is shown in the tutorial):
If I press the create new process button, it prompts me to give some “asset ID package”. Is this problem related to the first one, or is this a separate issue?
Could someone from the Intrinsic team please shed some light on the cause of these problems and ideally help solve them, so that we can continue with the actual challenge? Any help from teams with similar issues is of course also very welcome!
