Localization of ROS 2 Documentation

I’m also concerned about out of date and incorrect forked copies of the documentation surfacing higher than the canonical documentation in Google searches. This is already happening in some cases and causing confusion for new users.

I would also love an answer here as this is something that is already causing everyone using search engines significant headaches.

If the self-hosted documentation ends up ranking higher than the official-hosted documentation in Google search results:

I’m afraid there’s not much I can do to resolve that. At most, I could add a redirect link to the official-hosted documentation within my flyout menu:

The only thing I can do is to ensure the .po files maintained by ros2-docs-l10n stay as up-to-date as possible.
