Hi all, homebrew announced last year that they were planning to drop support for intel / amd64 CPUs in macOS in September 2026. I opened an issue with details about this change and a proposed plan, and since brew has already stopped building new intel bottles, I’m announcing it here. My apologies for not announcing it in a discoverable way sooner.
My plan is to stop running CI and building bottles for intel / amd64 CPUs on macOS in Gazebo, to follow the brew policy. See gazebosim/docs#602 for more details.
