Do I install just ros_gz or both ros_gz and standalone Gazebo?

Should I install both Binary Installation on Ubuntu — Gazebo harmonic documentation and GitHub - gazebosim/ros_gz at jazzy or just the latter? I’ve heard of issues when installing both, just wanted to confirm.

I don’t think installing both is possible. Both want to install command /usr/bin/gz , so there would be a conflict.

Installing the Gazebo from ros_gz should be okay for many users. The only real downside is that it doesn’t come with the Python bindings.
