We (Addisu, Steve, and myself) are doing some more development on SDFormat as part of a project funded through my employer, Toyota Research Institute. At this point, we’re targeting SDFormat 1.8 / sdformat11 for early December, to then be incorporated in the next version of Gazebo in the Ignition ecosystem (the “E” release), and future releases of Drake.
