Preparing for Lyrical Sync 2026-06-08

Hello Lyrical maintainers!

Starting now, I will be holding new Lyrical ros/rosdistro release PRs with a plan to sync ROS Lyrical packages to the main apt repo on 2026-06-08. Please comment here if there are any issues I should know about before performing the sync.

There are currently 123 packages waiting to sync, and I’m expecting 0 regressions once the buildfarm settles.

( ament_black - ROS Package Overview ) is actually broken for Lyrical (and probably Rolling) in the binary.
I realized that our organization was actually responsible for it but the former maintainer is not with us for a while.
So I fixed it: ( ament black fails on Ubuntu 26.04 and ROS Rolling · Issue #17 · botsandus/ament_black · GitHub ) and tagged 0.2.7, but I think I need to be added to the release team for the bloom release: ( Update release team membership · Issue #1049 · ros2-gbp/ros2-gbp-github-org · GitHub )
It would be nice to ship 0.2.7 in this new sync, but I may need help as it is (embarrassingly) my first time bloom releasing.

Thanks for fixing it! Looks like you’re following the ROS package release guide correctly. I’ll look into what needs to happen to get that release team membership issue handled. The next Lyrical sync will be in two weeks.
