This is the official topic for finding teammates or recruiting members for the AI for Industry Challenge. For any questions or support regarding teams, please contact us by email.
Best practices for a great post
Profile: Share your skills (e.g. Python, robotics, ML) and experience
Preferences: Include time zone, team size, and preferred role.
Contact: How you prefer to be contacted (e.g., LinkedIn). Avoid sharing sensitive personal data in public posts.
If you are recruiting for your team, clearly describe the roles or skills you’re looking for in teammates.
i am open to collab this is my linkdin profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/atharvm/ if i d hold your interest then connect to me, i like to participate in such challenges.
I am a Robotics Software Engineer working for a Danish start-up that builds AMR’s for outdoor maintenance and weed control, currently based in Odense, Denmark which puts me in the Central European Time zone (CET).
With strong competencies in ROS2 and its related tools and frameworks, using NVIDIA Isaac Sim for training digital twins in simulation, coupled with approximately 5 years of writing clean object-oriented programming code in Python and C++, I would love to collaborate with those of you that are:
Carrying a good amount of experience building, training/fine-tuning, optimizing for real-time inference, and deploying vision foundation models or VLM’s, besides traditional algorithms, for applications in robot perception and navigation.
Optionally, it would be a bonus if you have also worked on projects that involve building and training/fine-tuning VLA models in simulation and transferring for deployment to real-world hardware (for eg. LeRobot SO-100/101).
I’m looking to form/join a team for the AI for Industry Challenge, focused on robotics and AI applications.
About Me:
Skills: Python, ROS basics, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Robotics Simulation, Embedded Systems
Experience: I’m relatively new to robotics hackathons but have worked on small projects like autonomous navigation for robots and drone perception pipelines. I’m eager to learn and contribute!
Time Zone: IST (UTC +5:30)
Preferred Role: AI/ML development or assisting with robotics systems integration
Hey! We’re a team of two hobbyists who are getting into robotics and looking to bring on a third member with a strong background in physics. You don’t need to be highly experienced in coding, Gazebo, or software engineering (though that’s always a plus). What matters most to us is a solid understanding of physics and how things move, interact, and behave in the real world. (No need to be an expoert, just someone also willing to learn as well as we are beginners to this field too!) Thank you so much
Hello! I’m a software engineer and AI enthusiast with a strong background in Python, ANN, backend development and cybersecurity. I’ve worked on projects involving data analysis, AI-driven systems, and secure APIs, and I’m especially interested in applying AI to real-world industry problems with measurable impact.
Preferences
Time zone: EAT (UTC +3)
Preferred role: AI/ML Engineer, Backend Developer, or Technical Lead
Open to collaborating with teammates skilled in data science, robotics, frontend, product design, or domain-specific industry knowledge
What I’m looking for
Motivated teammates who are committed, collaborative, and excited about building practical AI solutions from idea to deployment.
Hi everyone! I’m looking to join a team. I have a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and worked as an operations manager in a manufacturing facility for 4 years
About Me / Skills:
Data Analytics, Python, Creo, AutoCAD, Mechanical Design, some additive manufacturing knowledge
Hi guys! I’m starting a small robotics project and I’m open to teaming up with others who are interested for my team in building and learning together. No need to be an expert in coding, simulation or engineering. What matters is being curious, chill and willing to grow as a team as we have ai tools to help us!
I’m still learning too, so this will be a hands on journey where we try ideas, fix mistakes and get better step by step. If you’re into robotics and AI want to work on projects together, feel free to connect!
Profile: Robotics & AI engineer with strong Python, ROS, simulation (Gazebo), perception, and manipulation experience. Background in real-world robotics systems and sim-to-real workflows.
Preferences:
• Time zone: EST (UTC-5) but flexible
• Team size: 3–6
• Role: Robotics perception, simulation (open to leading or joining)
Looking for: Teammates with experience in RL/ML, robot simulation, motion planning/control, or training infrastructure.
I’m looking to create or join a team for the AI for Industry Challenge. My name is Kevin WU, I graduate from University of Nottingham in MSc Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering.
Experience: I have worked as a Robotics Perception Engineer for the past four years, focusing on segmentation and vision algorithms for embodied intelligent robots. Recently, I developed a keypoint‑based robotic grasping system that uses a vision‑language reasoning framework, enabling a Franka robot to perform multi‑step tasks such as tea pouring.[youtube video]
Time Zone: London (UTC +00:00)
Preferred Role: Deploy VLM models on embedded systems for real-time use through cross compilation, which includes autonomous navigation, sensor integration and real-time control.
