The Gazebo Jetty 
release is coming up at the end of the month! This means it’s time to choose the name of the next release!
Gazebo’s naming scheme increases alphabetically and follows the “architecture” theme. These are the existing names:
- Acropolis
- Blueprint
- Citadel
- Dome
- Edifice
- Fortress
- Garden
- Harmonic
- Ionic
- Jetty
The community chose the name Jetty last year. Now we invite you to name the next release, which will start with the letter K and will be supported for 2 years! As always, the list of names has been pre-filtered taking into account the meaning, trademarks, ease of spelling, ease of searching, and so on. This is a ranked choice poll, so you will get a chance to indicate your preference for each of the names in the list.
Here is the name list with definitions, you can vote on them below:
- Kasbah – Arabic word for fortress.
- Kasteel – Dutch word for fort or castle.
- Katsuogi – Japanese decorative roof element.
- Keel – Naval architecture word for the bottom of a boat.
- Keller – German word for basement.
- Keyhole – A horseshoe-shaped arch that is wider at the bottom than at its top.
- Keystone – The stone at the top of an arch.
- Kura – A traditional Japanese storehouse.
