As part of the RMF-2.0 Project, the Centre for Healthcare Assistive & Robotics Technology (CHART) has developed several new features for Open-RMF which will be rolled out to the community in stages. The first stage will cover a feature for managing “zones” in a facility.
At this month’s session of the Interop SIG, CHART will take us through this new zone feature which is currently undergoing review. In their own words:
This presentation will provide an overview of the recent Zones-related PRs in Open-RMF, including the motivation behind the feature, the current limitations it aims to address, and example use cases such as dynamic patient-centred destination selection and lift sharing. We will also go into the technical implementation in detail.
This will be a great opportunity to learn about this new concept that’s being introduced to Open-RMF, discuss its technical details, and provide feedback as we work through the review process.
