Hi all,
I’m Nick, and we’re building autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). We have vehicles in the water and we’re scaling up to multi-vehicle ops with some fun engineering challenges, so we’re looking for a founding robotics engineer to own autonomy end to end.
What you’d work on:
- Navigation and state estimation without GPS (DVL/INS, acoustics)
- A ROS 2 autonomy stack
- ArduSub/Pixhawk today, moving to a custom flight controller
- Multi-vehicle coordination
- Sim-to-field testing, so getting wet is part of the job
- Wearing lots of hats, startup style
You’d enjoy this if you’ve shipped robotics software on real hardware outdoors, and you’re happy going from a Kalman filter to a leaking connector in one afternoon. Underwater experience is a plus but not required. If you want to make an impact with real physics/engineering challenges this is for you.
Full-time or contract-to-start, remote-friendly with some field travel.
Interested? Reply here or DM me with a few lines on something you’ve built, your portfolio and anything else you’d like to share.
Thanks!
