Use in industry for robotik simulation

Hey,

I am looking for Gazebo in the industry, for example in virtual commissioning?
And if so, can you give me some expamples of use cases?

Also I am intrested if somebody tried to connect Gazebo with a PLC (CoDeSys)?

Hello,

Gazebo may have been used in virtual commissioning, but I’m not aware of a specific instance. A google search turned up this paper Establishing Energy Efficiency as Criterion for Virtual Commissioning of Automated Assembly Systems - ScienceDirect, which references Gazebo but I don’t think the authors actually used Gazebo.

Other folks on this forum may have additional information.
