We have several job openings in the SMART Mechatronics and Robotics Research group in Enschede in the Netherlands. Currently, We have 4 openings for research engineers on:
- Cognition & AI,
- Industrial Automation,
- Control & Manipulation, and
- Sensing & Perception.
The SMART research group has 45 employees and we do applied research. This means we are the bridge between academics and companies. We start with actual challenges from companies and organizations and we apply recent and proven technologies. We also provides several trainings and courses for both students and professionals for example on ROS2. Our focus is on the development of robotic demonstrators.
We have a whole range of projects on different topics. We work on tomato and apple picking, bin picking, cleaning windmills (from drones), autonomous robots in agriculture and green houses, end many more.
