It is now merged into GitHub - ros-drivers/openni2_camera: ROS wrapper for openni 2.0
Purpose is to keep the maintenance effort even lower. For the detail of the decision, please see the referenced ticket for each repo.
Each old repo is preserved for backward compatibility.
