We’re planning for a Jazzy sync and patch release on 2026-06-08T00:00:00Z. There are currently 523 packages to sync and 6 regressions, that we can hopefully fix.
If you find a regression when testing, please report it upstream and leave a comment here so we can track it leading up to the sync and patch release.
Starting today 2026-06-02T00:00:00Z, we’ll hold all rosdistro PRs for Jazzy unless they fix reported regressions. On 2026-06-08T00:00:00Z we’ll announce the release.
I saw the thread on zulip with some problems. Is there a new tentative date for the release? Thank you for your work!
There’s currently a regression in the MoveIt stack in Jazzy:

geometric_shapes: 2.3.4-1 in 'jazzy/distribution.yaml' [bloom] by rhaschke · Pull Request #51949 · ros/rosdistro · GitHub introduced a build error due to a missing release of random_numbers. This has been done in random_numbers: 2.0.5-1 in 'jazzy/distribution.yaml' [bloom] by rhaschke · Pull Request #52068 · ros/rosdistro · GitHub, which should probably fix the regression, but that’s held for sync.
