Nine More Robot Arms Now Have ROS 2 Drivers, Including FANUC and Kawasaki

Since our last update in May, we’ve identified nine new robot arm OEMs with ROS 2 drivers. This reflects the growing momentum of ROS 2 as the interoperability standard across the robotics industry. You can always track the latest progress on PickNik’s ROS 2 Compatible Hardware database.

New OEMs with ROS 2 drivers:

  • Hanwha

We’re especially encouraged to see high-quality, up-to-date ROS 2 drivers now available for FANUC and Kawasaki models. These industrial manipulators now support high-bandwidth streaming control via ROS Control, which is a major step forward for both the robotics community and users of MoveIt Pro.
