This week’s meeting was held on 2026-02-09T19:00:00Z and the following is a summary:

New agenda items:
- Gazebo-classic postmortem survey: Reminder for all PMC members to fill
out by 2026-02-09T00:00:00Z. - GSoC: We have 60 applicants, need to get ideas on the wiki ASAP.
- Importing zenohd: Discussion on using the same version for all Gazebo
and Ubuntu versions. - Defaulting
GZ_IP=127.0.0.1: Discussion on deprecating zeromq in the
next version and removing it in the following. This requires documentation
and ensuring Zenoh feature parity and testing. We plan to make Zenoh the
default wait until it is tested well by the community before deprecating
zeromq.

Updates:
- gazebo_oci_images: The repository will be hosted by the openrobotics
organization. - Debian packages: Progress on urdfdom 5.x (transition bug)
and Mujoco 3.4.2 PR. - DART: Imported 6.16.x to prerelease 6.16.6 to fix verbosity issues.
- Automated changelog generation: Moving to conventional commits format;
prototype working on gz-transport#784. - gz-transport: Fix gzTransportPublish() binary safety bug,
separate ZeroMQ/Zenoh resources,
and progress on Zenoh shared memory (>2x throughput for big messages).
- gazebo_oci_images: The repository will be hosted by the openrobotics
