Gazebo Jetty, tutorial party results and artwork!

Hi Everyone,

The Gazebo :gazebo: Jetty release is just a week away, September 30th to be exact, and we’re happy to announce that the release artwork is now ready! Before we show you the artwork we wanted to fill you in on the results from our Jetty Test and Tutorial Party! Our tutorial party went incredibly well! We had 25 participants from the community help us with testing the Jetty release which allowed us to:

  • Close 388 out of 571 total testing tickets

  • Close 148 out of 148 Ubuntu tickets

  • Close 65 out of 148 MacOS tickets

  • Close 47 out of 147 Windows tickets

  • Close 128 out of 128 non-OS-specific tickets

  • Create 74 PRs fixing issues found

The team is presently making the final preparations to release Gazebo Jetty and hustling to get ready for our monthly Gazebo Community Meeting on October 1st, 2025. We’re hoping the entire Gazebo community shows up to watch us present the great new features in Gazebo Jetty. At the Gazebo Community we’ll also be announcing the name for the next Gazebo release, the K release, :backhand_index_pointing_right: so please take a moment to vote for your favorite names in our poll :backhand_index_pointing_left: .
