Just a quick update for anyone in Adelaide who came across this thread.
After a number of conversations with people interested in learning ROS 2 locally, we’ve now launched a face-to-face Professional Robotics with ROS 2 course at the Adelaide Robotics and Computer Science Academy (ARCSA).
The course is designed for adults and follows a structured pathway beginning with Linux for Robotics and Python for Robotics before progressing to ROS 2 and programming real robots. We’re using The Construct’s curriculum together with our BotBox Robotics Lab, so participants can work with both simulation and physical robots.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings (6:30 pm to 8:30 pm) at Lockleys Sporting Facility in Adelaide, and enrolments are limited to 10 participants to keep the classes small and hands-on.
