Preparing for Kinetic Sync 2020-12-03

Kinetic Maintainers,

We are beginning to prepare for a sync. There’s two know regressions that we’re working to resolve this week.

Move Base Flex – costmap issue

VTK linking error:

They have both been triaged and have fixes staged in testing. There’s still an outstanding issue for vtk on armhf to be resolved.

For this sync I plan to hold releases besides any followups to the above issues starting today. And will plan to run the sync on Monday. 2020-12-07T08:00:00Z

The fixes are already in the testing repository and any extra testing would be appreciated.
