Hi all,

A reminder for our working group meeting tomorrow!

Here are the details: When: Last Tuesday of each month, 4–5pm EST This month: May 26th, 2026

May agenda: “Introducing the M4P: Multi-Modal Maritime Mesh Protocol” presented by Peter Girard (Poseidon’s Forge)

  • An open protocol for delay-tolerant maritime mesh networking

  • Architecture and design decisions behind M4P, drawn from real AUV programs

  • Q&A and open discussion

A bit about Peter: he’s a software engineer specializing in autonomous underwater vehicles, with 8 years of experience across defense and commercial AUV programs. He’s a founding software engineer and primary architect at Poseidon’s Forge. Previously at L3Harris, he led and architected the software for the first successful AUV torpedo tube launch and recovery demonstrated on a moving submarine. His work spans onboard autonomy, mission planning, multi-vehicle coordination, simulation, operator tooling, and subsea communications, including M4P.
