MAHE Mobility Challenge 2026 (MIT Bengaluru)

Hello ROS Community,

MAHE Mobility Challenge 2026 is a national-level hybrid hackathon hosted by CEAM and the Department of ECE at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Bengaluru.

This challenge is designed for B.Tech students passionate about autonomous and connected mobility systems, offering an opportunity to ideate, design, and build real working prototypes addressing next-generation mobility challenges.

Total Prize Pool: ₹3 Lakhs

Challenge Tracks

• AI in Mobility
Intelligent perception systems, predictive modeling, adaptive routing, autonomy stacks

• Robotics & Control
Embedded systems, actuator integration, simulation workflows, control architecture design

• Cybersecurity for Mobility
Secure V2X communication, threat modeling, safety-focused system hardening for connected vehicles

Format & Timeline

  • Registrations Close: 15 March 2026

  • Round 1: Online technical proposal submission (Deadline: 31 March 2026)

  • Round 2: Offline prototype demonstration at MIT Bengaluru (17 April 2026)

Shortlisted teams will build and demonstrate working prototypes during the final round.

Participants are encouraged to leverage open-source robotics frameworks (ROS), simulation environments, and modular autonomy architectures where relevant.

We welcome engagement from students and robotics enthusiasts interested in contributing to secure and intelligent mobility systems.
