We’re looking for a robotics and computer vision engineer to help us build perception for the next generation of autonomous underwater robots.
Our robots operate in conditions where off-the-shelf solutions often fall short, so this isn’t just about integrating existing packages. You’ll help design and build the perception stack, from SLAM and visual odometry to object detection and scene understanding, and take it from idea to code running on the robot.
You will be joining our R&D team of 12 people working across software, mechanics and electronics.
We think you’ll be a good fit if you have a solid foundation in both robotics and computer vision, write solid C++ and Python, and like taking an open problem to a working system on your own. Experience with SLAM or visual odometry is a big plus, as is underwater perception.
We can offer full-time employment in Stavanger, Norway, or full-time or part-time contracting work, remote or on-site.
Interested? Please contact me at jorn.bersvendsen@remorarobotics.no. Feel free to link to something you’ve built.
