Collaborative Capstone Project Inquiry

Hello,

We are a group of third-year B.Tech Mechatronics students from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology seeking an industry-partnered Capstone Project. Our team offers a cohesive workflow and a strong technical foundation in the ROS 2 ecosystem.

Our collective skill set includes:

  • ROS 2 Framework: Proficiency in ROS 2 Humble, including Nav2 and ros2_control.

  • Perception & Mapping: Implementation of SLAM and LiDAR-based Occupancy Grid Mapping.

  • Robot Modeling: Creating URDF and Xacro models using Fusion 360 for simulation and hardware visualization.

  • Computer Vision: Developing real-time object detection models using Python (YOLO/OpenCV).

  • Embedded Systems & OS: Development in Embedded C++ for Raspberry Pi and ESP32 platforms within Linux/Ubuntu environments.

We would be glad if you find us an opportunity to apply these skills to a real-world challenge, such as autonomous navigation, hardware-software integration, or Sim2Real pipelines.
