Building an AI-Powered Smart Kiosk with Robotic Arm for Automated Food & Beverage Dispensing 🌱

:robot: We are developing an open-source Robot Gardener project aimed at helping people grow healthy food more easily and sustainably. The vision is to create a low-cost robotic assistant that can water plants, monitor soil, detect weeds, identify fruits and vegetables using AI/computer vision, and eventually assist with harvesting. The project is especially intended to support home gardening, small farms, schools, and elder-care communities where physical labor can be challenging.

We are currently exploring ROS2, robotic arms, mobile platforms, Jetson/Raspberry Pi systems, OpenCV, and sensor integration for autonomous gardening applications. The goal is to build a modular and community-driven system that anyone can improve and adapt.

We would love to connect with ROS developers, robotics engineers, computer vision experts, embedded developers, and open-source enthusiasts interested in agricultural robotics and sustainable living.

Suggestions, collaboration ideas, hardware recommendations, and links to similar open-source projects are highly welcome! :herb:= Dr. Srinivasa Rao - srao123@gmail.com

Hi Srinivasa, welcome. Can I ask why your title doesn’t match your content?

Hello Mr. Christian Fritz,
THANKS FOR POINTING OUT THE ERROR. SORRY. Here is the right correct one.

Seeking Robotics Integrator for AI-Powered Snacks Kiosk Project – Jamaica Market, Queens, New York, USA.

We are developing an innovative automated snacks kiosk at Jamaica Market, Queens, New York, and are looking for an experienced robotics engineer/integrator to help us select, integrate, and program the right 6-axis robotic arm solution for reliable commercial operation.

The project involves building a robotic arm system capable of automated snack handling and dispensing inside a smart kiosk environment. We are seeking someone who can guide us on the right robotic arm hardware, sensors, camera systems, motion control, software architecture, and overall system integration to ensure smooth and safe operation.

We are especially interested in professionals or teams with experience in robotic kiosk pick-and-place systems, Guidance on sourcing cost-effective hardware and scalable system design would also be highly valuable.

Please share your portfolio, GitHub, demo videos, or previous robotics integration work if interested. Open to freelancers, startups, ROS developers, robotics labs, and system integrators worldwide. Dr. Srinivasa Rao - srao123@gmail.com
