Luxonis is a spatial AI and CV platform that focuses on embedded machine learning and computer vision technology.
We are looking for a ROS Lead who is passionate about computer vision to help us integrate DepthAI into the ROS world of libraries and projects. This role will architect and develop means of ROS integration and create projects to expose common DepthAI functionality to other ROS developers who use our devices.
Requirements
- Experience in the ROS ecosystem (ROS2 preferred)
- C/C++ in-depth understanding
- Solid understanding of CMake
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: concurrency, multithreading, performance
Responsibilities
- Lead ROS integration at Luxonis, owning the architecture, implementation, and long-term maintainability of our ROS stack
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless deployment in real-world robotics applications
- Engage directly with key customers to understand pain points, gather feedback, and shape future improvements
- Drive the ROS roadmap from concept to execution in alignment with product and engineering stakeholders

- ML/AI understanding
- Computer vision algorithms understanding and familiarity
- OpenCV library familiarity
This role is primarily hybrid, based in Prague (Czechia) or Ljubljana (Slovenia), with regular on-site collaboration. Remote work may be considered in exceptional cases.
