In Bremen we initiated a robotics meetup where people can exchange, get to know each other an socialize.
We meet every 1st Thursday of a month. In the past mostly in bars in central Bremen. This month we will meet at Cellumation on 05.03., a company in the logistics sector that sells ROS 2-based material conveying solutions. There will be an introduction, a tour and time to socialize with some drinks.
During the spring we want to host the meetup at some more places and the expected next locations will be the university of Bremen and the DFKI.

Robotics Community Meetup Bremen – April Edition 
This month, we’re excited to host our meetup at the AICOR Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IAI) at the University of Bremen! 
AICOR focuses on AI research, especially cognition-enabled robotics for everyday applications.

We’ll start with an exclusive tour of the institute led by Benjamin Alt, where you’ll get insights into their research and have the chance to ask questions.
Afterwards: Social & Science Talk
For the second part of the evening, we’ll head to the nearby OililiO pub (≈15 min walk) for a relaxed get-together.
At 20:30, there will be a Science goes Public talk on “Understandable AI” by Prof. Dr. Rolf Drechsel (German). (https://lnkd.in/dvS_s4XG)
Plus: OililiO has food, drinks, and plenty of time to connect and chat!

The next meetup for Bremen’s robotics community is just around the corner

This will already be our 7th event, and it’s been great to see how much people enjoy coming together — sharing ideas, learning from each other, and building connections. We’ve got a nice mix of regulars, occasional visitors, and new faces every time.

Robotics Meetup Bremen – August Edition
Join us for our next Robotics Community Meetup in the (arguably 
) “center of Bremen” - Neustadt - at Kukoon im Park (Leibnizplatz, Google Maps), starting at 19:00.
It’s a great outdoor location where we can catch up with fellow roboticists, exchange ideas, talk about robotics, and enjoy a relaxed summer evening together.
Drinks are available for purchase at Kukoon, and we’ve heard they also serve cake (though probably not a full dinner).
Since September will feature an Autonomous Systems meetup, our next Robotics Meetup won’t be until October. That means this will likely be our last outdoor meetup of the year - so don’t miss it!
