DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about robotics, and the future of autonomous systems? The Cyber-Physical Life research group (https://cyphy.life) at the IE School of Science and Technology, IE University (Madrid, Spain), is inviting applications for a fully funded 4-year PhD position. This is a unique opportunity to pursue cutting-edge research at the intersection of robotics, blockchain-based tools, and AI-driven creativity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Creation of innovative concepts and methodologies that combine robotics, blockchain and AI.
- Execution of proofs of concept on real-world use cases.
- Publish the findings from the created solutions in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Occasional teaching in related undergrad courses.
REQUIREMENTS
- A strong academic background (MSc/MEng) in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Interest in interdisciplinary research combining robotics, blockchain, and AI.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) and Blockchain-based technology (e.g., XRP Ledger, Ethereum EVM, ZKPs).
- Concept prototyping skills, mainly through Python programming.
