Community Forum

  • Every other Monday at 08:00 UTC.
  • Next session: 2025-11-03T08:00:00Z
  • Zoom Link

Every other Monday the Open-RMF developers hold a community forum where we make ourselves available to talk with users and interested community members. There is no agenda, and the discussion is open-ended, as long as it relates to the project. Feel free to come with questions, bug reports, feature requests, or looking for help.

For anyone who is interested in contributing to the project, this is a great place to look for guidance on how to get started.

Project Management Meeting

  • Every other Tuesday at 01:00 UTC.
  • Next session: 2025-11-04T01:00:00Z
  • Zoom Link

Every other Tuesday (Monday evening for the Americas) the Open-RMF Project Management Committee (PMC) gather to discuss matters pertaining to the upkeep, development, and technical direction of the project. These meetings are run according to the project charter. In most cases these sessions are open to the public to observe, and there will usually be opportunities for observers to give feedback and ask questions.

Interoperability Special Interest Group

  • On the first Thursday of every month at 15:00 UTC.
  • Zoom Link

On the first Thursday of every month, we hold an Interoperability Special Interest Group. This interest group is not exclusively about Open-RMF, but the discussions that we have in the interest group will help drive the project roadmap and development. This interest group is open to everyone. Anyone who would like propose a topic for discussion is encouraged to message me. We are especially eager to host anyone who would like to present something related to interoperability; just send me a message so I can add you to the agenda.

The official calendar link seems malformed (according to Google), might have gotten double encoded somewhere along the way %2540 instead of %40 for the “@” in the URL

Thanks for pointing that out! It seems to be a flaw in the recently added “Rich Text Editor” mode that combines the markdown and the preview into a single WYSIWYG editor. It was impossible for me to set the link correctly until I reverted to the old split view editor.

This was also causing problems for the recurring event dates. The “Rich Text Editor” mode was erasing the recurrence, so those dates weren’t being updated correctly. Now everything should be working correctly, but do point out if there are any more issues.
