There have been several new and updated packages in Kilted since it was released, and it’s time to sync those new features and fixes to the main apt and dnf repositories.
There are currently regressions and 248 packages to release.
We will start holding rosdistro PRs for the sync on 2026-09-15T07:00:00Z, with a plan to do the sync on 2026-09-16T07:00:00Z.
Hmm, this is wierd. On https://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_kilted_default.html?q=SYNC I don’t see rmw_zenoh.
But rmw_zenoh: 0.6.8-1 in 'kilted/distribution.yaml' [bloom] by Yadunund · Pull Request #53920 · ros/rosdistro · GitHub has been merged a few hours ago (which bumps it to 0.6.8, containing a critical bugfix https://github.com/ros2/rmw_zenoh/issues/1039).
Main and testing now have 0.6.7, so why doesn’t rmw_zenoh appear in the SYNC list?
I believe SYNC requires that the new version (0.6.8) be in the testing repository, and it’s not (0.6.7):
Version 0.6.8 built after the last Krel_sync-packages-to-testing_noble_amd64 job.
It’s just a matter of time now, especially with the sync hold starting today.
