Quick Inc. is a University of Tsukuba startup redesigning emergency and hospital operations with AI, software, and robotics.
We are looking for full-time or contract engineers who can help deploy and integrate service robots in hospitals across Japan. The role combines remote preparation with on-site PoC work at project locations nationwide.
Openings: 1 full-time position and up to 2 contract positions.
Responsibilities include site surveys, network and device integration, field testing, log collection, troubleshooting, coordination with robot vendors and hospital teams, and creation of repeatable deployment procedures.
Required:
- Experience in software, hardware, networking, systems integration, or field deployment
- Ability to troubleshoot using Linux, networking, APIs, and logs
- Ability to attend scheduled on-site PoCs in Japan
- Professional Japanese communication and respect for hospital safety and confidentiality requirements
Nice to have:
- ROS / ROS 2, Python, or C++
- AMR, UGV, humanoid, navigation, SLAM, sensors, or embedded systems
- IoT, cloud, remote monitoring, OTA, or observability
- Robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, or control engineering education/research
Engagement: full-time employment or contract work. Hours, compensation, travel expenses, and contract duration will be discussed based on experience and scope.
