Creating an announcment about Boston Robot Hackers

It would seem that such a post belongs in “Community News”. But maybe not because “new topic” is greyed out for me. I thought the “ROS” would be for technical topics related to ROS. So bottom line where’s the right place for me to let people know about the new Boston Robot Hackers community, web site and next meeting?

The Boston Robot Hackers group is having our next meeting on September 4 2025 at 7:00pm.

We are a new group or club of Robot aficionados in the greater Boston area. We want to connect to other like minded people, learn from each other and build things together.

The meeting starts a “show and tell” segment where members bring a project that they are working, sometimes to show progress, sometimes to get help, or just for fun. Siddarth Dayasagar will give a talk introducing the Space Station OS (a ROS application). .

If you are in the Boston area, we would love to have you come to our event. Please register here so we can have a sense on the number of people. To join the group, be on the mailing list and participate, request an invite and we will get you in.

Also Artisans Asylum moved? They are no longer in Somerville?

Correct, they are now in Alston. A really amazing huge space with lots of parking. Are you Boston area?

But I was just checking and I can’t find it anymore. I don’t assume you had to take it down for some reason? I may just not be searching right…
