When does Qualification Phase end? I have heard 2 different deadlines (one next week and one in 3 weeks)?

I would like clarity on this as well, in the NVIDIA livestream it was said the deadline is in 3 weeks and we have plenty of time. Would be helpful for late entrants who just signed up if this is the case

Is it real? Because in the submission page, it still says
Deadline for submission
The submission portal will be used only for the qualification phase of the challenge and will remain open until 7:59 PM UTC on May 15, 2026. Submissions for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will take place in Flowstate, and our evaluation committee will review only Phase 2 submissions.
Is it updated recently?
Perhaps it was a misunderstanding in the NVidia meeting? I wasn’t there so cannot tell but it may be that they referred to the date when the results were announced. The submission portal still says May 15th and I remember that while the deadline for registering had been extended, it was explicitly said that that doesn’t change the May 15th deadline.
An intrinsic organizer was in that Nvidia meeting and would have been able to correct if the statement “you still have 3 weeks” was wrong…

I apologize for the confusion from my statement during the NVIDIA webinar on deadlines. We have not made any changes to the original timeline so May 15th is still the final date for submissions.

There is also an issue with the timing of the deadline. Submission portal says 15th May UTC 7:59 pm (There is no limit on the total number of submissions a team can make prior to the qualification phase deadline of 7:59 PM UTC on May 15, 2026)
The submission link in the same portal says that the OCI image can be submitted until May 16th 1:59:00 am (Not clear what timezone this is)
Could you confirm the exact time for the deadline for final image submission?

We realized that two different deadlines were posted, which may have caused some confusion. To support all participating teams, we will honor the later deadline of 11:59:59 PM UTC / 3:59:59 PM PT on May 15th, as displayed on the submission portal. Please note that the time displayed on the OCI submission page is based on your timezone. Thank you very much for understanding.

Nit: I think that’s 4:59:59 PM PT right now cause we are in PDT.
