# Upcoming Lyrical Feature Freeze

And Lyrical is Frozen! Until ROS Lyrical branches from ROS Rolling, we will only be accepting bug fixes to the ROS Rolling branches of any repo appearing in the [`ros2.repos` file](https://github.com/ros2/ros2/blob/rolling/ros2.repos).

Expect to see these steps this week:

1. There will be one last ROS Rolling sync on Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble)
2. ROS Rolling will move to Windows 11, Ubuntu 26.04, and RHEL 10
3. ROS Lyrical will branch from ROS Rolling

I will post an announcement once ROS Lyrical branches from ROS Rolling.
