A reminder that our next working group meeting is coming up TODAY at 4pm. If you haven’t already, please take a look at Survey - Open Ocean Software and try to fill it out ahead of time. Survey results continue to inform WG direction, discussion, and opportunities for impact on the community.

August agenda: OCEANS 2026 Follow-Up Discussion & Simulation Efforts
This month we’ll be recapping OCEANS 2026 and continuing the discussion on some of the directions there, in particular where the ROS maritime group can focus and contribute to ongoing simulation efforts. Chris Thierauf will also be discussing his thoughts and recently released beta of a language agnostic spec.
