Have you ever wanted to buy a used industrial robot? I know a few people who have done so and they always run into problems getting the proprietary robot controller to do exactly what they want.

Youtuber Excessive Overkill has a solution, [build an open software / open hardware generic FPGA controller board and reverse engineer your robot’s proprietary control protocol.
