The timing seems right. OpenCV only makes whole number releases every five or six years so this is a _big deal._ The TL;DR is that OpenCV has been re-built from the ground up to support significantly faster processing and better support all of the latest models. I’ll take what we can get. I’m sympathetic to people working in the trenches of industrial deployments being risk and change averse. Baby steps.
