# ROS Meet Up Stockholm - Nordic Tech Week - September 8th

So it is time for another Swedish ROS meetup! 🇸🇪

The [Nordic Techweek](https://www.nordictechweek.org/) is coming soon to Stockholm and with the [Physical AI Day](https://luma.com/nordic-9lu9?tk=GTNiRf) planned on the Tuesday afternoon. So of course we will need to properly startup the day to get our fellow ROS developers together!

So together with Scailabs (@ljdust) and McGuire Robotics (@kimmcg) we will organize a 2 hour ROS developer meetup at [MagasinX](https://www.magasinx.com/).

Date: 2026-09-08T08:00:00Z→2026-09-08T10:00:00Z  
Place: [MagasinX](https://www.magasinx.com/), Tullvaktsvägen 9, 115 56 Stockholm

The current plan is the following:

- Short keynotes from builders in the community
- Round table: the state of ROS in the Nordics — deployments, tooling, pain points
- Time to meet the people shipping robots on ROS around Stockholm
- More information will follow!

In any case, we are also looking for anyone presenting their ROS projects as well, so please reach out if you feel that you have a project or tooling that would be suitable to present.

So we have a schedule for the meetup

- 10:00 - 10:10 - Walk-in (coffee and light fika)
- 10:10 - 10:20 - Intro talk (About ROS in the Nordics - Poll for round table discussions)
- 10:20 - 10:20 - Talk about Lukas (Scailabs) about his ROS journey up to his PhD
- 10:40 - 11:00 - Talk by me about the AI for industry challenge
- 11:00 - 11:10 - Short break and prepare round table
- 11:10 - 12:00 - Round table discussions

We are able to fit in another presentation as well so if anyone would like to talk about their ROS project at the meetup please let us know here!
