I understand that RHEL8 is part the [roadmap](https://osrf.github.io/ros2multirobotbook/roadmap.html).  
Does it mean that open-rmf and the supporting tools need need to be able to run on ROS2 Galactic?

Yes, we are still working on adding some dependencies that are needed on `RHEL8` to be able to release the `rpm` packages.

Current sources of `RMF` should be compatible with `ROS Galactic` and `ROS Foxy`. There are `deb` packages released for `Foxy` and `Galactic` ones are on the way.

Forgot to mention they should also be working with `ROS Rolling` but, as it’s a rolling release, stability is not guaranteed.
