Hi.

I have tried to import Blender3d model to Gazebo (.dae) as a test following this video

[![](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex022/uploads/ros/original/3X/b/9/b97051a5c2f2e21a58687367609b1116c7e768fe.jpeg "Download a 3D model and load it into a Gazebo simulation") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP4sDyrRzpU)

however, each time I try the model either cut to half or very distorted. my questions are:
1- is it feasible to use Blender3d models? is there any other possible solution?
2- if I managed to create that model as a world, would it be possible to test quadrotor or any gazebo supported UAV to hover around that.
I desperately need your advice and thanks in advance.
ps: i have attached images of the model.
