# Preparing for Kinetic Sync 2019-10-09

We have [55 packages to sync](http://repositories.ros.org/status_page/ros_kinetic_default.html?q=SYNC) and no regressions in Kinetic.

To that end I propose to hold new releases until Friday and sync then. If there’s anything that might be an issue with this plan please reply here for consideration.
