We’re planning a Jazzy Jalisco sync next 2026-04-11T16:00:00Z. There are currently [668 packages](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_jazzy_default.html?q=SYNC) ready to sync and [2 regressions](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_jazzy_default.html?q=REGRESSION).

If you find a regression when testing, please report it upstream and leave a comment here so we can track it leading up to the sync.

Starting today 2026-04-08T16:00:00Z we’ll hold all rosdistro PRs unless they fix reported regressions.

Is there a Rolling sync afterwards? Are there any dates for Lyrical (pre)-releases?

We are effected by this issue - just raised here too for visibility.

> Unfortunately, ros-jazzy-rosidl-generator-rs version 0.4.11-1 contains a bug that raises a TransientParseError when building message definitions in our setup. This issue has already been fixed upstream ([https://github.com/ros2-rust/rosidl\_rust/pull/20](https://github.com/ros2-rust/rosidl_rust/pull/20)), but the fix is only available starting from version 0.4.12, which is not included in this sync.

Are there any plans for the next Jazzy sync?

We really miss the update of the simulation-interfaces package in O3DE simulation community.

I would also greatly appreciate a new sync. In my case mostly for this ( [Fix segfault in jtc if joint name not in urdf (backport #2321) by mergify[bot] · Pull Request #2323 · ros-controls/ros2\_controllers · GitHub](https://github.com/ros-controls/ros2_controllers/pull/2323) ) fix to ros2\_controllers.
