Hello everyone,

We’re planning for the first patch release for Iron on 2023-07-14T01:00:00Z.

Several package updates are ready to be released for Iron! There are currently [no regressions](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_iron_default.html?q=REGRESSION)and [50+](https://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_iron_default.html?q=SYNC) packages to release 🎉

We will hold Iron backports and `rosdistro` PRs for the sync starting today 2023-07-10T10:00:00Z and will do the sync on 2023-07-14T01:00:00Z.

I’ll make an announcement here once the sync is complete and we can resume merging into `rosdistro`.
