# Preparing for Eloquent Sync 2019-12-11

Currently Eloquent has no known [regressions](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_eloquent_default.html?q=REGRESSION) and [68 packages](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_eloquent_default.html?q=SYNC) ready to sync. I plan to hold new releases for Eloquent starting today, with a sync on Friday.

Please comment here if there are any outstanding issues I should know about before performing the sync.

Yes, we were holding on rosdistro merges until Dashing/Crystal got out. It should not be an issue.
