# Preparing for Crystal sync 2019-09-05

Crystal is [regression free](http://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_crystal_default.html?q=REGRESSION) with a number of new packages ready to sync. We’ll plan to sync on Thursday 2019-09-05. This sync will not include a patch release of any core ROS 2 packages.
