# How to use fastdds\_monitor on ROS2 Humble

I tried following some online tutorials ( [3. Example of usage - 4.0.0](https://fast-dds-monitor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/rst/getting_started/tutorial.html#initiate-monitoring) , [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYibnUnMIlc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYibnUnMIlc), …) but cannot get any statistics. I can see my topics, just not statistics. I made sure to set `FASTDDS_STATISTICS` and even tried rebuilding my WS with `--cmak-args -DFASTDDS_STATISTICS=ON` but I’m quite sure that did nothing. I then run the AppImage (~/Apps/eProsima\_Fast-DDS-Monitor-v3.2.0-Linux.AppImage) but no luck.
