Hi Gazebo Community!
This week’s meeting was held on 2025-11-24T19:00:00Z and the following is a summary:

- **PMC Business** :
  - **Meeting Time Change** : The PMC voted to change the regular meeting time to **19:00 UTC** to adjust for the recent daylight savings time.
  - **Meeting Structure** : The structure was changed to ensure more time for discussion by moving **agenda items** _before_ general/progress updates. Updates will now mostly be in written form, but anyone who wants to expound on an update can can do so after dicussion on agenda items has taken place.

- **Progress updates** :
  - **Buildfarm Status** : Ongoing work to resolve several issues, including Ogre `gl3plus` tests failing on Windows and problems with `LogCommandAPI` and `DemTest.NaNNoData` tests.
  - **sdf\_web\_app** : Migration to nanoc is ready for approval, and there’s a plan to move the code into `sdf_tutorials` to keep it with the content.
  - **ros\_gz** : Backport of **ROS standard simulation interfaces** has been completed.
  - **Gazebo Server-Only Install** : Work is progressing, including changes to how `.so` files are handled in `gz-physics` packages.
  - **Build Fixes** : Several PRs were made to fix RHEL Ogre-Next builds for the ROS vendor package.
  - **Dart Update** : Dart 6.16.x packages are in the prerelease repository, and tests with `gz-physics9` are passing.
  - **Mujoco Integration** : An early prototype for **Mujoco integration** into `gz-physics` was created during a hackathon to test feasibility. It currently supports simple shapes/meshes, but performance with meshes needs investigation. Plans include adding joint and nested model support ([gazebosim/gz-physics#811](https://github.com/gazebosim/gz-physics/pull/811)).
  - **System Plugin Isolation** : A prototype for **System plugin isolation** was created, including a LockStep plugin and runtime plugin, which showed good performance in an example run.

- **New agenda items** :
  - **Speeding Up Physics** : A discussion was held about integrating a custom physics engine for faster simulation, specifically for cases needing high precision for a small number of objects, less concern about collisions initially, and the ability to **switch/reset physics engines** during simulation. The concept of **lockstep simulation** without relying on the current `WorldControl` message was also brought up.
